Brigham Young University

Owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormon Church or LDS Church) is one of the largest private universities in the United States. The LDS Church subsidizes part of the education, so tuition remains low, even for non-LDS students. BYU is located 45 miles south of Salt Lake City in Provo. BYU offers its 33,000 students bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees. BYU has a high-ranking law school as well as an acclaimed business school.
