What is Buyer Representation?

In the old days of real estate, back when “Avocado Green” was the No.1 choice for a refrigerator color, agents represented one person – the seller.  But thanks to some changes in real estate law, you now can have an agent represent you.  An agent who will represent you and your interests and negotiate on your behalf.  Buyer’s agents are paid when the transaction closes, typically by the Seller through the listing agent.
