If you are worried about being homeless after your house sells, put your mind at ease. You have options.  You can:

·                      Add a contingency to the purchase contract, which would allow you a given amount of time to find a home before the your home sale is made final and you have to move out.

·                      Put your belongings into storage and rent a home, apartment or condo until you find a house to buy, if you receive an offer you can’t refuse.

Knowing how much you can afford and with money in your hand, you should have no problems finding another house to buy once your home as an acceptable offer.
